Mercury Venus Earth Mars
Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune

Planets are large celestial bodies that orbit stars. In our Solar System, the eight planets—Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—each have unique characteristics. Mercury is the closest to the Sun and has extreme temperature changes. Venus has a thick, toxic atmosphere and the hottest surface temperatures. Earth supports life with its liquid water and suitable conditions. Mars, known as the "Red Planet," is a prime target for exploration. Jupiter, the largest planet, has a strong magnetic field and many moons. Saturn is famous for its rings and moons, like Titan. Uranus and Neptune are ice giants, with Uranus rotating on its side and Neptune having the strongest winds. Each planet holds many mysteries, from their formation to their potential for life.
